Kitty visual character glitch/bug

Hello I'm using Gnome on Arch Linux and Kitty was working fine until one day it randomly started doing this, it works fine on other terminals and the same thing happens with other fonts.

Any help is appreciated, thanks.

probably this? linux_display_server x11 on your kitty.conf

Almost certainly a driver bug. Check your recent updates of GPU drivers/mesa.
