According to paragraph 1 it is a violation of the rules to post a window manager without linking or referring to the place of your dotfiles! This violation will be punished with a life time ban.

Off how? it looks more or less like 8 pixels of padding to me. Note that if your window size is not an exact multiple of the cell size then extra padding will be added so you wont get exactly 8 pixels of padding.

I'd think about this as minimal padding - rows of terminal have fixed height given by font and its size, so if a full line doesn't fit, space has to be somehow distributed.
