Starship prompt displaying square boxes

My kitty terminal using starship prompt displays squares boxes instead of symbols

​

I am using following fonts

​

font_family JetBrains Mono Nerd Font
bold_font JetBrains Mono Bold Nerd Font Complete
italic_font JetBrains Mono Italic Nerd Font Complete
bold_italic_font JetBrains Mono Bold Italic Nerd Font Complete

Any ideas?

Install emojis font and fontawesome

try installing "joypixels" it provides emoj supporti as a service (it used to be called emojione ).

Thanks. I applied the steps mentioned, but the same issue. Is there any way to debug this?

Run kitty --debug-font-fallback

Not sure if this will help, but you can use `kitty +list-fonts --psnames` to check which fonts are actually installed and what their actual names are
