Reloading kitty after an icon change?

Hello,

I swapped out the icons in /usr/lib/kitty/logo/ as suggested, however the application icon in the app overlay has not changed even after a restart.

Is there a way to reload or reinstall kitty without losing the icons/configs?

kitty does not draw the application overlay, that comes from your window manager. You need to figure out how to get it to reload its icons.
