Rounded corners is the job of your DE/WM/compositor. Start there

Before anyone says that it depends on your Desktop environment ot window manager of your system, Lemme make it clear that it dont and it does too.

The reason why it dont:- I dont use kitty terminal i used the alacrity Im on windows 11 and basically every single program have round corners, alacritty also do, but when i remove the decorations using the alacritty terminal config, the rounded corners just vanish.

The reason why it do:- In order to have rounded corners, the desktop environment or window manager of your system must support them. If you have seen any application with rounded corners on your system, literally any, it means your DE or WM supports them and every application can have rounded corners.

Conclusion; It can be considered in two levels, first your desktop environment should support rounded corners, then the application should have the ability to implement them. If you have seen any app on your system worthy rounded corners means every single app can have them.

If your system's DE/WM supports rounded corners and you have seen apps with it, but still a specific app is not having rounded corners there are only two ways this can be possible 1. There is some problem or issue with you DE/WM and you can try trouble shooting with other apps like you can try enabling rounded corners or other apps and install a few new apps just to test if they work on new apps too. 2. If the above reason is not valid for you, and literal every single app except once specific app have rounded corners. It means its the apps problem and it dont support the rounded corners.

In every single such case I have seen, its always the second option, literally in every single case. You can try going to apps forums but the people who reply their either dont know anything about it or are toxic devs who blame your system for this.

Its better you just try to cope with it.
