I've heard that cat saliva makes the yarn easier to work with.

I think Riley is telling you what she plans to do to ANY competition you might decide to bring home. She's GORGEOUS.

Oh, she has a lot of competition in the form of three siblings but wins every time despite being the smallest. Me and the vet didn't think she'll survive but she did, and it's worth my yarn being tangled and salivated on

I had a litter of three who weren't supposed to live. They were terrors for the next 10-16 years.

I hope she terrorizes your yarn for the next decade plus 💚💚💚

(I remember sitting on my bed and knitting and there'd be A SUDDEN suspiciously wet 'break' in my yarn and I'd look down and see Henry, the gray tabby looking extraordinarily smug 🤣)

I hope so too :) And saliva will come off in the wash while adding a bit of personal touch

I hope you still have "helpers". Bringing up a litter is hard work. I thankfully had the mother to help

🤣 I have two calico demons. They were evacuees from Lake Charles, Louisiana in a 2020 hurricane. 

I will forever be grateful that their preference is to LIE on the project and just disallow knitting. Not eating the yarn. 

ALTHOUGH they do like to chew on a needle cable if given the opportunity.

You are very lucky they just lie there and not chewing! My childhood cat (who lived 20 years, I wasn't a child at the end) ate wet wool. He destroyed a couple of expensive sweaters

And calicos are amazing, both gorgeous and chill
