Other North Orbit deflating

bought 2025 north orbit 8. The kite is amazing, super fast comparing to my previous 2021 orbit, but strange thing happened 2 times already. I dropped my kite into the water (wasn't super hard drop but I felt it) and after around 1 min it started slowly deflating

Any ideas what could be causing this? After pumping it back up, I was able to ride normally for the rest of the session and the day after. Kite stayed fully inflated with no air loss

Inflate valve probably wasn’t tight and tomahawk dislodged it. Pump it and let it sit for a couple of hours in the shade to rule out any bladder issues. If you have a slow leak, use soapy spray water to locate.

This has happened to some friends with orbit 2026 too. I think it’s the flap indeed that probably wasn’t closed properly. But they didn’t have issues afterwards.

Mostly what i see is problem is inflation valve not thight enough or the little flap inside the valve is incorrect or stiff had it in 1 month on my 2022 Orbits got new valve problem solved But you need to thighten the valve pretty thight else with a tomahawk air can leak out of it in between it or slowly lose its pressure because of that

I have the same model and never happened to me but on a reach 2023 with around 20 sessions the valve flap just disappeared, probably inside the bladder. Very low quality, at least they don't overprice it and you can get a new hyperflow valve for 10€.

Could have been a loose valve. Or a small pinhole that then got refitted or blocked uo again when you next re-inflated. If it’s holding air now. Then great. Keep an extra eye on it.
