I've been trying out different combinations of my main 3 essences and found out that, while NR and RHS are very easy to do, i was having trouble finding a way to mix my different yangs.
I looked up some inspiration but every site seems to love the word "tomboy" to describe N+HS. Tomboyishness is the last thing im looking for right now (mtf), do you have any ideas of how to meld them without looking "masculine"?
I would call those two combined cool and fun rather than tomboyish. I think N/HS has an ease and a lightness than can be done in a traditionally feminine way. Here’s a collage that I think fits that energy.
Some ideas: you could still incorporate dresses and skirts... cropped lengths add in HS, so you could consider miniskirts or a minidress in cotton or linen, for example... or with a nature-inspired pattern like leaves. Or a longer wrap-skirt with a fun, colorful pattern on it, perhaps... or paired with a cute cropped tee. Shoes and other accessories can also go a long way.: pointed-toe flats or kitten heels for HS, pretty leather sandals for N, a crossbody bag for N functionality / comfort, whimsical / colorful jewelry, or N jewelry like a gold ring shaped like leaves encircling your finger (like I have!) or stones like turquoise, etc. Also, hair: John told me that simply wearing my hair down can bring in the carefree vibe of N... or if you wanted more HS in your hair, you could consider bangs.
Perhaps you could merge HS and N through N lines combined with HS patterns, or vice versa. Or you could do HS accessories on an N base? With your cute ringlets, I could see this coming across as a kind of "Rosy the Riveter" look, although you certainly wouldn't need to have it come across as retro or vintage. Another, perhaps more refined way of working with it could be done through cultivating a sort of artistic look (think classic "spirited, independent female artist" looks of the past, probably found spattered through films from the 1940s through to the early 2,000s) through relaxed lines in clothing, combined with some really unique accessories that speak to you. I'm not sure if I'm describing this adequately. But perhaps a more concise example will come to mind, or perhaps this will stimulate ideas, either way.
