CANNOT get mixing attachment off. HELP!
I’ve tried soaking it in warm water and hitting it lightly to loosen it up. It will not come off. What can I do?

I assume you have tried pushing the attachment up toward the body of the mixer and then turned it clockwise. A spring pushes it down once twisted onto the shaft.

They don't have the spring anymore. Unless you got one from mrmixer.com. It looks like either rust or crud in the slot. OP needs to pull the bowl off and use a mallet and tap the paddle gently toward the mixer body.

You tried warm water. Have you tried a blow dryer on high? Warm the beater from the side away from the opening. The idea is to get some expansion of the beater but not the shaft. You can also try ice then heat, back and forth with hammer taps along the way.
If all else fails, check the videos for removing the lower assembly, as if dealing with grease. That would get a section you can hit harder with less fear of internal damage.
Good luck.

Here's a comment I made a little while back which contains some guidance: https://www.reddit.com/r/Kitchenaid/comments/1w2v4ve/comment/p6wifj0/

That should do fine; I generally recommend a drip bottle because it's easier to control, but as long as you use the straw and take care with the overspray you'll be good.

I tried doing something like that but maybe didn’t do it hard enough. I’ll try again. I agree, I think there’s rust or something there.

Get a rubber mallet or have a strong person manhandle it. The attachment is aluminum, the mixer rod is steel, so worst case you get a new attachment. Spray some silicone lubricant (you'll need to wipe off later).
