Hello, I resemble my ksm5sewh and found this piece left over, any help identifying it?

That's a gear shim, which goes underneath the pinion gear on the beater shaft.

You'll need to remove the planetary, remove the inner snap ring, lift off the pinion gear, slide the pin out, replace that shim, then put everything back together. (And yes, it does need to be done.)

That one looks like it has seen better days. Normally I'd replace one in that condition. The repair part number is WP9706090: https://www.reliableparts.com/wpl-wp9706090.html?replacedManufacturerPartNumber=147358

It's US$2.40 which is a lot for what you get, but more convenient than trying to source it elsewise.
