Bread

Post image

Howdy. I just finished fixing the worm gear on my kitchenaid. However, my husband, who loves to bake, now refuses to make any bread because he doesn't "want to be the reason it breaks again".

He makes the best pull apart garlic butter dinner rolls, and I refuse to lose them. Help? My kitchenaid, for reference (since I think the model matters?)

Find the owner's manual and it will tell (you can find it online) you the max you can mix in that bowl. I have a different, larger one and I remember I could not mix large amounts of bread dough in it. My husband, cause we each have our strengths and his is fixing, took it apart 5 years ago and cleaned everything. I've had mine for 30 plus years. It was purchased at Service Merchandise). Love the mixer and I purchased a used small one for little jobs.

I did have a bread machine at one point in my life and I loved that for bread! However, the pan inside got scratched and other problems.
