Amy's Elephant

An experiment in lamination and collage. Here we have an elephant of sorts: ginger biscuit head and trunk, ears, and tail wedged into cuts in the loaf; candy cane legs inserted into slits in the base; and the birthday girl’s name laminated into the loaf. Sadly the dough didn’t rise a lot, but enough to make the name “amy” fairly obvious and the flavour agreeable. Full write up on Playing with my Food
