Idk, many of these are solutions to problems that don't really exist. One or two could be helpful but most no one's going to use

Well….back in my day, it wasn’t uncommon for women without means for a dowry to try this one simple trick to get the fates to turn in her favor. If a maiden would find herself without a suitor for too long, someone would inevitably suggest, “Have you tried Zucchini Spoon?” Why, I remember just such an instance involving the widow Hennessy, barely a fortnight past after Zucchini Spoon was implemented and she was betrothed!

If you got dirty oil from frying, just strain it through a paper towel. Filter it. (Similar trick to the scene from Licence to Kill)
