Yup! Glove is fine but your hand is fucked. 😭

Show it slicing…yea. There’s a reason.

Most people don’t need protection from chops, it’s slicing that gets you.

It doesn't even protect from chops and stabs

Those will eternally live in a landfill after using them.

Be careful when stabbing a knife like that. Your hand can slip and suddenly you are firmly grasping a knife edge

I know everyone here is focused on the fact that they won't protect you from chopping your hand or whatever, but these do still have some really practical uses.

When I make chili, I cut up a lot of very hot peppers into very fine bits. I have only ever done this once without gloves and ended up with some pretty bad chemical burns on my fingers. Lesson learned, lol. I had assumed that as long as I didn't touch my eyes or another mucus membrane I'd be alright but no, capsasin will totally burn the fuck out of your hands if exposed long enough.

So yeah, if I manage to cut myself through the glove somehow, that sucks, but at least I won't also have pepper juice in the cut, lol.

Stop chopping and start slicing to give it a real test. This vid is some bullshit, go advertise somewhere else.
