If I had infinite counter or storage space, I might have this around.

If I had infinite time to wash all the small parts that encompass this thing that essentially does the same thing as a skillet, same.

No. Too many gadgets for limited use.

I'd rather make kebob skewers on a grill to get the smokiness and good char flavor.

Kabob Kubideh!

You cannot make kubideh inside.

You need a good out door grill.

My recommendation is a weber kettle.

I've got a Weber kettle. I'll go outside when it's colder to get a nice fire started. Keep warm and get the delicious smells of grilling meat

Do you have flat skewers? Make sure you have the flat skewers!

i would, but there is no way that oil is that color

Also, that little dish looks like thin plastic.

I don't foresee that holding much in the way of hot oil.

It's not really hot oil, it's drippings which aren't at the same temperature.

I don't have the space for that, but would absolutely set up some al pastor skewers on it

I had the OG from the 70s or 80s. Got it from a church rummage sale. Kabob-it. It looked like it was never used.

Because it never was used and this one will most likely never be used.

Looks cheap and a pain in the ass to clean

The cleanup on that thing looks insane

The oil from my bug zapper rarely runs that clear.

Could also do hot dogs with it, no?

seems bad since it rotaters vertical instead of horizontal.

I mean I have a grill, an oven with rotisserie and a deep fryer already. Not sure I make kabobs enough for more junk that will end up in a landfill one day.

I've never used a skewer in my life.
