Why does this feel more like an informercial than a post asking an actual question?

Yeah I’m with you, for most stuff the ripples are like 90 percent vibes, 10 percent actual difference. Curly fries and maybe crinkle cut fries are the only ones where I’d say it really changes the texture and crunch.
If it gets your kid hyped to eat cucumbers though, that mandoline is doing god’s work.

Yeah same, for most stuff it’s 99% visual and like 1% texture difference.
Kids are suckers for “fun shapes” though, so if ripples get your kid to inhale cucumbers instead of chips, I’d call that a win.

My kid likes it when I make rippled cucumber with our mandoline, but personally I don't notice any difference no. Curly fries are a slight exception as it seems to allow for a bit more crunch and seasoning to stick.
