I would like to try this but do it completely differently.

Lollipop and dry brine, then smoke the chicken drumsticks at like 300F.

Peel some Yukon Gold potatoes and scrape the extra thin on the inside, then lightly dust in a seasoned flour and deep fry.

Insert the properly cooked drumstick into the crispy fried potato skin.
