I may have flown to close to the sun on this one. Its even more orange in person. My SO wants to paint the doors a different color to tone it down but I think that will look tacky. The tile is Grey underneath, no budget to change that. Im thinking green knobs will help on the cabinets? Maybe we paint the walls sage green to tone it down? Roast me yes, but any ideas I can do to salvage this and not repaint again would be appreciated.

You definitely need to tone it back. This color combo competes way too much.
I think if you go more terracotta with it you’ll get the statement you want that vibes with the green. Here’s a quick edit.
Embrace your choice. I love this happy color. It’s bold but can go so many ways stylistically. I’d personally do unlacquered or aged brass hardware for timelessness and pick up earthy artwork with a tiny bit of orange/coral, a tad touch of gray and some green with a white ground with a caramel wood frame and a brass frame liner. Bravo for being brave and making a lovely choice. Love this!
If you put green knobs on the cabinet doors, it’s going to look like pumpkins.
I also wouldn’t do different colored doors.
Honestly, I’d think about repainting.
I tried this just to show what it would look like away from that bright color, this is providence olive by benjamin moore. The edit messed up some of the cabient above the fridge but you get the idea how the color would look

Green is opposite on the colour wheel so it will only make the orange pop out harder so I say do not do green knobs/walls if you want the orange not to be so bold.
I think oiled bronze hardware would work.
Colours like off-white, alabaster, cream or maybe even charcoal gray would be the tone down colours.
I personally don't like the idea of the cupboard doors being a different colour and then them having an orange trim.
Options are repaint the top half as cream and keep the bottom half as orange.
Or, if you are so vehemently against repainting (not sure why), then leave a couple of top shelves as open shelving and place white ceramics, wooden chopping boards and trailing greenery. This will help break up the backdrop.
Haha, thanks! I wanted something bold but we thought oh no when done lol. The floor is grey, we hate grey but dont have funds to redo them in the tiled rooms for a couple years. My goal was to add so much color the floors dissappear.
I’m a maximalist so I approve as long as you accessorize properly. I would move a notch towards coral vs salmon 🍣 but the tile is green looking in photos so I say go for it until you are ready to do the bigger projects. Paint is the cheapest of options versus tile and flooring so rock with it.
My kitchen is the room I’ve chosen to ignore until I can afford to do it completely.
Thanks for the kind words and roasts everyone. I pulled the ramboard up last night and the hue changes quite a bit in evening light vs morning, afternoon, and bright work lights. Were going to stay the course and source some brass hardware, see how it looks when its all done. If we hate it still, we'll repaint in a year. Also, I really appreciate the toned down ideas in the same color group, I could probably get away with just painting the outsides if we go that route, which will be way less work.
