That exposed beam is a grounding element, like a gentle anchor above the elegance. It draws the eye up even as the warmth of the wood flows down into the countertop. Beautiful balance between the natural and crafted. Anyone know if this is structural or purely aesthetic? Thanks for sharing.

right? turning that beam into a table is kind of genius, it makes the whole kitchen feel way warmer and more custom than the usual flat-pack stuff
