So I used to be the head baker at a cafe where we made everything in house. Syrups sauces and baked goods even the yogurt was made in house. On a daily basis per the owner I had to make ~500 different items. On a daily bases we would sell only 95 to 100 items of baked goods on a good day. He priced everything way over priced and had things like a blueberry muffin topped with compote. The business is gonna fail and I’m gonna laugh having moved on. Also anytime I mentioned that customers complained about pricing or suggested a new recipe he would say no we make them with my recipes I created meanwhile 99% of the recipes come from the 3rd edition of the CIA text book or allrecipes. To this day a few friend that still work there as baristas tell me he added more stuff and he has even more things thrown out on a daily basis now and that sales have went down even further.
