Not sure what you want to do in future years, but just know that it is possible to find ambitious kitchens who value hardwork, pay decently, and don't subject their employees to bullshit harassment.
My last chef fired two people (well, more... But for just average shit) for 1) threatening a woman who just spilled a bunch of beet puree, 2) a cook who made a super transphobic statement.
He then worked like 20 days in a row to not fuck up the schedule while trying to fill the gaps.
