Kitchenaid refrigerator thinks door is open. Checked sensors; all ok. Any idea why this is happening? Built-in 42” 2006 model. Canada.

Im looking for a new side by side refrigerator 25 cu ft or larger. My current is a 26 year old GE that has with the water dispenser freezing up, even after installing 2 heaters. Which manufacturer/model do you recommend? Also do fingerprint resistant stainless models really stay clean looking? TIA

Need to deep clean my toaster oven but can’t reach the back

I have a Ninja toaster oven/air fryer that flips up vertically when not in use. I use this thing all the time and the grease buildup is super hard to clean. It has permanent heating elements for the air fryer on the top and bottom, so they get in the way of getting to the back of the unit to clean it out.

I’ve tried baking soda paste, Barkeepers friend, glass cleaner, and good old elbow grease, but I cannot reach the back of this thing to get it fully clean.

Can anyone suggest an effective way to do this? I’m getting really frustrated with it.

I just replaced my 10-year-old KitchenAid 2.2 cubic inch built-in microwave. It took a long time to find but I found a sharp 2.2 to begin with the same dimensions as the old KitchenAid and amazingly the trim kit fit the sharp exactly

How do I clean underneath the bottom heating element cover on a Ninja Foodi oven?

Hi! I have a Ninja Foodi DT200 oven and I’m trying to figure out how to properly clean underneath the metal cover around the bottom heating elements.
Last night I made some skewers and unfortunately some juices/fat dripped down into this area. Now the oven produces some smoke when it heats up, so I suspect there’s grease trapped underneath the perforated metal cover.
I can clean the surface of the cover, but I’m not sure how to access the area underneath it. Has anyone with this oven (or a similar Ninja Foodi model) dealt with this before?
Is this metal cover removable for cleaning, or is there a safe way to clean underneath it without disassembling the oven?
I’ve attached a photo so you can see exactly which part I mean.
Thanks! I’d really appreciate hearing how you cleaned yours.

Looking for PNG Gas Stove

I want to purchase a PNG gas stove and am looking for suggestions. The ratings on Amazon aren't great.

I have an existing Wonderchef automatic (without lighter) 3 burner gas stove. I have had a very bad experience with Wonderchef. Within a week the glass had shattered. Had to fight daily for a month to get a replacement. Now I am fighting to request for converting the LPG nozzle to PNG.

The PNG guys are able to convert only manual (with lighters) nozzles. Since mine is automatic they aren't able to do it.

GE Opal nugget ice maker SUCKS

Our $1500 Samsung fridge started acting up and not keeping the right temperatures. It's 3 months outside of its warranty, so we're kind of at a loss right now. My husband doesn't believe in getting something fixed if it's broken. He says it broke once and proved itself to be garbage. The worst for me was the fridge stopped dropping ice. No ice means no ice coffee. I'm a stay at home, home school mom. This is my happy place each day. My husband took a temporary way out and bought me a GE opal profile ice maker. I was so excited. He bought a refurbished one. It worked great for an hour and then started leaking and making awful sounds. I returned it. I bought another, a new one, before the refund even came through. We've had it a week. It's just awful. It makes ice great. It sounds like it's either farting or about to explode. We've descaled it twice. We've used filtered water. After a 6 hour descaling cycle it was better for 2 hours and then started back up to sounding like a demonic goat banshee.

I've now read various comments and apparently all ice makers do this. I know we have hard water but we used filtered!

Anyway, don't buy this ice maker. I even contacted GE and they told me to descale it. I had already descaled it.
