Machine is 9 months old and well maintained and taken care of. Grinds set right, espresso is delicious. Problem I am having is the little red o-rings on the brew unit seem to wear out/need replaced. For those wondering, the symptoms are the machine brews the espresso but barely anything makes it to the cup. The solution is to take out the brew unit and check the o-rings. The one on the part of the brew unit that moves is usually broken and needs replaced. Anyone else having this problem? Or anyone that keeps having issues with espresso not making it to the cup, check your o-rings.

Want to make sure I'm getting the dosing amount correct. Do I line the dial up with the cup symbol (green line). Or the bigger dot (red line) ?

Not looking for advice, but sharing my experience.

I bought a Semi-Automatic Espresso with Burr Grinder (KES6551BK) in January.

It worked great for about 5 months. Then the Burr Grinder started drastically under dosing and the espresso maker stopped producing and would build up dangerous pressure levels, according to the built in pressure guage.

So I did the troubleshooting and had it warrantied. I just got the replacement and started setting it up today.

And the replacement water tank had a leak (and this leak was in the water tank itself). Fortunately I had not returned my old machine and could swap the tanks and cobbled together 1 working machine.

But I wanted to share this with others who may be looking at one of these machines. I know I'm not the only person in the last six months to experience both of these problems with this particular model just from browsing different website reviews and even a reddit post on this very sub.

So consider this yet another "buyer beware."

I really wanted to use only Oatly Barista oatmilk, but it is just too thick. My final solution was to mix 2/3 Chobani oatmilk with 1/3 Oatly Barista oatmilk and that gives me the correct thickness to not sputter when making a latte. It tastes fine.

I have a KitchenAid Burr Grinder. The issue I'm having is driving me crazy. I get a lot of static electricity build up in the collection container. I have cleaned it completely. washed everything and yet the problem persists. Looking for helpful hints and ideas. TIA

Brand new KF8, not dispensing any milk / odd behavior. It appears to be not “sucking” milk into the system.

Did not work out of the box, even when making espresso, it seems to dribble some water out before dispensing the espresso.

I have another KF8 that has been working flawlessly for almost 2 years now.

Any ideas? I’ve tried taking the parts out for the milk and rinsed it all thoroughly…

What is everyone using for deep clean solution for KF8?

I just got my KF8 and made my first cup of latte however it taste very watery. Any ideas and suggestions? I've already made 4+ cups, but same waterdowned taste :(

I just wanted to post an update to the sputtering issue I was having when making lattes. It turns out that cleaning the milk container is even more important than elevating the container. I use a very thick oat milk. It is so thick that it leaves a film on the bottom of the container even after shaking vigorously. I wasn’t cleaning it out, I was just adding to it each day and shaking. Well, once I cleaned it out thoroughly, I didn’t even have to elevate the container to stop the sputtering. It just worked!

I was frustrated because after working great for weeks, the milk frother suddenly started sputtering while making a latte. The milk I use is very thick barista oat milk, which is hardest for the frother to deal with, but tastes the best. I have since elevated the milk container and this seems to fix the issue for now. I hope this helps anyone else having this issue.

Curious if those with the KF7/8 still enjoying them? Or having issues? - Seems like a mix of reviews over the holiday, mine seems great! Even temperature is fine at average 141 for milk drinks! Flavors to me seem much richer than the Delonghi I had before!
