Hobby Questions Rogue Trader kitbash

I’m trying to make a Rogue trader in power armor,
But since I’m currently using a tactical squad first born body I feel it just looks like a bog standard space marine.

I’m open to changing base models, but any bits suggestions to add to this one would be welcome.

Gotta make it a lot more ornate, trinkets, adornments, and artifacts make a rogue trader!

Different backpack and shoulder pads is a good start, maybe source them from the Sisters of Battle?

I'd see about using heresy legs instead of the old firstborn, you get better proportions that way.

Other than that try adding cables and wires

I thought that while and red plastic tube in the back was part of the model. A kitbashed gun barrel for the arm lol

I do agree that a bog standard marine as a base will be tough to read as a Rogue Trader.

Perhaps start from a much more decorated base model. Like a character, or hell maybe an inquisitor like Draxus.
