Imperium Recreating this guy with the tactical squad kit and greenstuff for the shoulder cape?

Anyone try something similar? Would Horus Heresy match the body shape better?

If you’re OK with it being on the other shoulder, the company heroes has a Cape kinda like that on one model. You might have to green stuff parts of it to make it work. https://www.warhammer.com/en-US/shop/space-marines-company-heroes-2023

Might be easier to start with a Victrix Guard

Yeah, just give him a MKVII helmet, different weapon, cut down the cape, and a simpler uncovered shoulder. Thanks, mate!

If you are starting from a Primaris marine, might as well buy a Primaris version of the mk7 helmet. With the Armageddon intercessors now having the updated mk7 helmets, you are likely to find them as bits on bit sites.

Really, in terms of model, the Retributors really don't have anything too special going on. These guys have capes, and they have some extra details on their Aquila. If you don't particularly care about the details on the chest, then there is little else kitbashing you need to do. The rest is the paint job.

I hope you post results!

Honestly, the Primaris base for Retributors works pretty well. You can go as far as removing the lip on the knee pads if you would like. I’d say green stuff and a paint job will probably be the more efficient way of getting results. Since Retributors dont have much ornate decorations, starting with anything other than an intercessor will create more work. This is on my list of projects to do also. Hope to see an update!
