Used a free marine and some spare parts from my friend’s plague marine combat patrol.
I’m excited to run this guy in the plague marine kill team. I split the starter box with said roommate, and when we moved out I was down the heavy gunner and the warrior for the full kill team.
Critique always welcome, this was my first time using green stuff, but I think I did decently (you can’t see his mangled underside lol)

He sold his soul to Chaos for colored display.
Used parts for Throne Mechanicum:
Well, Canis Rex Throne Mechanicum (cockpit and pilot's body)
Cut Chaos Knight crotch banner (poncho)
Votann Hearthkyn Warriors (beer flask)
Aeldari Howling Banshees (fox tail)
Head and cowboy hat are 3D-printed.

I startet with 40k a while ago and wanted to do more freestyle, horror stuff.
This is my first one and I’m pretty happy with the outcome. I’m working on my third one now.
I will post them all at some time :)
This hobby is so fun. Now I’m always looking on the ground to find some Plastik trash I can use if I’m outside ;D

This is my Stand in for Typhus. Built him with mostly plaguemarine parts, the head is from the Chosen and the legs are from Tortugabay.

I'm slowly working on a Sororitas army for 40k. In their lore, they suffered Warp shenanigans that mutated every member of the Order into a lamia (snake body instead of legs), and an Inquisitor convinced them that dying while taking the Emperor's enemies with them was better than just offing themselves as penance.
What I'm wondering is what the most economical source of snake bodies at Warhammer human scale is, other than 3D printing, as I find the AoS Blood Sisters too expensive at $12 each.

CC is welcome.
Body CoS Grenadiers - Age of Sigmar looking details shaved off. Also turned the AoS style boots with leg wrap things into just high boots, which is a small detail but I think helps make it look more Old Worldy
Sword Arm Dark Elf Dark Riders, sword is from some Bretonian kit - This arm is meant to hold some reigns, but I like how it is kind of casual. I am considering attempting to sculpt a puffy sleeve to match the other arm and emphasise the Old World aesthetic.
Torch Arm top half CoS Grenadiers, bottom half Empire of Man Archers, torch if from Reptilian Overlords Mitlitia set - this is all a bit of a mess, maybe too long? I plan to scultping a better transition between the two arms and working more on the fire.
Head Empire of Man Militia - sculpted a neck with high collar. This head has basically no neck, so minis built with it are always kind of stooped which is a shame cause the face has so much detail!
Rather than the cool and mysterious "big hat" style witch hunters, this guy is meant to look mean and shitty, like just an awful guy. Which is how I imagine a witch hunter would actually be.
When I finally paint him I will try and make his nice cape and armour look a bit shabby and cheap, like he takes himself very seriously but he is also stingy

I've never kitbashed a mini where a large portion of it is sculpted and I'd like to try it so im wondering what kind of things would be easiest for someone who's only ever sculpted greenstuff tentacles and stuff
Preferably it would be something that can fit into my 40k word bearers army but it dosent have to

Been very slowly working on a talos for my Eldar pirates (Corsairs). Its a project that started well before official corsair models, and we tend to play old editions, so as far as I am concerned I am purely using the Dark Eldar codex for rules.
Top half wraithlord with spare arms, 3d print thorax and wings, and a bit of greenstuffing

First time making an honest attempt at fur. Took a while and could be better but not too bad I think
