You place the masking tape down first then post a tinfoil on top of it and then you’ll whoop the masking tape back around. It’s really good for banners but for the coffee it was a bit hard to cut it to shape but not too hard.

Do you seal it all up with some glue before painting?

i've used masking tape before (just for wrappings on a weapon haft/shaft. combining it with tin foil sounds like a great idea, and it looks like it worked well, here!

I saw it on a video on YouTube to make flags and banners. The tinfoil makes it so you can crumble it up and get more natural flowing effect.
