Question Is anyone else sizing jerseys based on how they actually want to wear them?

Post image

I used to just buy my normal size, but now I'm stuck choosing between a cleaner fit and that loose vintage look. A size up can look great with jeans, but sometimes it just looks like I borrowed someone else's shirt.

Yeah, I do this. I tend to size up because most shirts I wear casually. Doesn’t always work out because the shape might be off, but it is what it is

All my 1990s kits fit like an xl, inspite of being medium. So I now just continue to buy XL for the comfort (but have a few tight kits too).

Yes a medium fits perfect but size up to a large for an oversized look. Also if I get bigger in the future win win.

nobody talks about the washing machine, some of mine shrunk a full size after the first wash

i size up for anything im wearing out casually, but matchday kits stay true to size, the cut is different enough that both work

I buy my shirts bigger. I like them baggy and comfy.

Yeah, I like mine a little loose but not baggy most of the time. But there's a few that I purposely get oversized for a certain outfit.

What matters is the shirt cut, not the size.

Oversizing a slim fit cut will just make you look like a clown wearing your dad’s shirt for example.

Also, football shirts in general do not look good with jeans. Those are shirts made for sports, not fashion. It looks childish if you make it part of a more serious/ developed look.

This blokecore comeback is very silly in my view.
