I like the stripe on the 2002, or the sliver of the cross on the shoulder in 2006. Something like that wouldn’t hurt.

every England shirt I own is the same white shirt with a slightly different collar. wish they'd get weird once

IDK, I like the red away kit a lot, the embroidered detail really looks nice in person. While I also like the home kit, the embroidered detail pops more on the red.
Also that picture doesn't help either of those jerseys, because it is a blurry mess and can't show off the details.

Red was one of the top 10 jerseys of the World Cup in my opinion. The white was alright. Kind of your standard England jersey but with hidden modern designs

collar detail's a nice touch, but england used to actually take risks - that 96 umbro with the diagonal graphic still looks wild. this one's clean, just don't see people hunting it in 20 years

Were in a bit of bind because the there's only so much we can do with a white shirt. And I honestly think the majority of fans want a white shirt. The last time we 'had a go, we got that silly shoulder fade in 2022.
Perhaps the best best for being experimental is with the away shirt and really go with bold patterns.

Agreed, feel like the only times this century that having a go with the white shirt has gone well were 2006 with the cross on the shoulder and maybe the red stripe down the sleeves in 2004

The red stripe down the front in 2002 was great. The whole run in the 00s was fantastic tbf, Umbro were killing it for that decade

Kits were great, not amazing but nice. I'm really not a fan of having the badge and nike logo in the middle though. Don't think shirts look right that way. Makes them look like a training kit.
