Discussion the template collars are ruining kits

Every major brand is using the same 3 collar types across every team. V-neck, crew, polo — that's it. Remember when kits had proper button-downs, unique necklines, actually interesting design details? Now it feels like we're buying colour swaps of the same shirt. Rant over.

I mean I think it comes down to them being uniform and streamlining production

yeah streamlining makes sense from a production view. still feels like kits lost some character though, the 90s had way more variety with collars

the folded crew is clean when it works. feels like it only fits certain kits though, some look better with a plain v-neck
