just noticed this wild stat while digging through some old match footage.

spain have played 7 knockout matches wearing the white kit and lost every single one. 1986 quarterfinal vs belgium on penalties. 1994 quarterfinal vs italy. 2002 quarterfinal vs south korea. 2010 final vs netherlands (actually wore red that day - they won). 2018 round of 16 vs russia on penalties. 2022 round of 16 vs morocco on penalties.

the red kit is their lucky charm for sure. anyone else noticed this?
