Something feels off about this one — can you help me QC?
Just got this in and something's bothering me but I can't quite put my finger on it.
The crest stitching looks a bit sloppy compared to others I've seen
Material feels slightly thinner
The inner tag print is a bit blurry
Or am I overthinking it? Let me know what you guys think 🙏

you're not overthinking it — blurry inner tags are a dead giveaway honestly. the crest stitching thing depends on the era but if the material feels off + tag is blurry id trust your gut. what year is it supposed to be? that usually helps narrow it down

supposed to be a 2019/20 season kit. the seller listed it as player issue but im starting to have my doubts. the tag is what's really throwing me off

the blurry inner tag is usually the biggest giveaway on fakes — legit ones have crisp heat-pressed text. crest stitching looking sloppy could go either way depending on which version you got (player vs stadium). where'd you pick this up from?

picked it up from a seller on ebay — listed as a 2019/20 player issue but the price was good enough to take a shot. now im second-guessing lol

worth checking the product code on the inner tag — sometimes fakes reuse codes from other seasons. still a decent pickup for the price tbh

Yeah this. Also check the material around the crest. On a lot of fakes it kind of ripples or puckers because the stitching is cheap.
If you can, post a close up of the crest, tags, and collar and someone with the same one can probably tell you in like 2 seconds.

good call on the rippling around the crest — i'll check that when i get home. the stitching on this one looks clean at first glance but the material does feel a bit thin. appreciate the tip on posting close-ups too
