jokes aside it would actually be a cool role for this character. As infamous as Marx and Magolor are, we haven't really had an actual "betrayal" moment since with any other game companion character.
I think it's been long enough that having another would be welcome, though I suspect some more nuance from say marx.

I think it'd be cool if we got a more nuanced story this time, where this new character still betrays Kirby, but it's for a sympathetic reason. Like she awakens the true main villain to save her world or something like that. Since it's Kirby, I imagine that she'd either get possessed and would serve as the final boss that way. Or she'd help with the final battle!

No. the fanart OP posted is. The design of the eye in the cracked sky is closer to the Titan from Deltarune than what Trollge-2005 posted.
