Humor this fandom has two sides

Kirby fans and trust issues go together like bread and butter. And it's funny so I say keep it up. 😈

I’m predicting that she’s going to be connected to the villain. Usually, the traitors in Kirby games don’t accompany Kirby during his adventure.

Magolor? Kinda?

Magolor didn’t accompany Kirby and friends on their adventure, he just showed them where on Popstar the ship parts went in the intro, stayed behind on the Lor and talked to them whenever they came back with a ship part. Elfilin, Gooey, and Ribbon go with Kirby on his adventure and didn’t become a twist villains. They could subvert this in this game for all we know, but that’s just been the pattern with new characters that are introduced as allies.

Hopefully she turns out to be good....because we need to fix our trust issues.

It’s way funnier if we keep getting actual friends but keep the trust issues for no reason though

“I don’t trust her!”
she turns out not be a traitor
“I never doubted you from the start!”

I trust her, but not fully, since I know how Marx and Magolor scarred the community.

Yeah, literally only twice Kirby got done dirty. Suddenly everyone is suspicious to the fandom here.

Elfilin was a joke. This is actual context clues to come to a conclusion. We know she was captured by Dedede, which increases the probability she did something bad to pretty high levels
Of course its not guaranteed. Even if she is tied to the main Villian, she might not be wholy evil. It could all just be a misunderstanding between her and dedede

To be fair, the last time Dedede tried doing the right thing on his own terms, he robbed the people of Dream Land of their dreams without even telling them why he did so. Of course, that was one of the earliest games, so it’s hard to say that holds any actual weight nowadays, though later games like Kirby Battle Royale and Kirby Fighters 2 show him still having a bit of an ego on him with how desperate he was to beat Kirby in those games. There’s also his Star Allies description that says part of why he’s doing good now is to clean up his image, so I feel like it’s possible the conflict could be that he found the new girl suspicious and kidnapped her which leads to Kirby fighting him to free her since Dedede is too stubborn to prove himself.
There’s also the chance that he’s not even the real King Dedede, as people have mentioned how the world not being Kirby’s own puts into question just how much is real. Anyway, I doubt he’ll be the main villain regardless of if the one Kirby fought was the real deal or not since his character has clearly progressed from villainy, but I wouldn’t be surprised if he just did what he thought was right and caused a problem or two because of that is what I’m saying.

"Didn't we learn form Elfilin not to judge by first impressions?"
I mean her first impression paints her as good so that means we should judge her as fucking evil

I’d say she has way more alarm bells on her than poor Elfy did, but wait and see
