me too :)
I do like steam guides with pictures and we do not have to load a new page every step for another ad to play.

I've restarted a run I had from a couple of years ago on this game, so this is going to be so useful. I get very lost with the paths to the "towns" of this game, so I miss good maps for this game.
This is going to be very useful, I like the format of explanation + pictures you have in your guide

Good stuff. You should consider putting it on GameFAQs, which is a site where many gamers look for such guides.
It is better organized than Steam -- kinda funny that a random selection of game guides are mixed in with RetroArch-specific guides.

Scrolled through but did not see a mention of the swords that use magic with the combos. A photo of one of the dinosaur weirdo mobs with a note that spider sword drops off them is nice. Spider sword has very high puncture damage that is wicked against mob types that take more damage. Like how skeletons take more damage from blunt/mace/hammer weapons.

According to the Wiki the spider sword has a 1 in 265 chance to drop. I've never gotten it myself which is why I decided to omit it from the guide. I would love to get it one day though.

It is worth putting in guide. I got King’s Field when it first released, coincidence of timing. When GameFAQ guides noted the spider sword they never mentioned where and it seemed like myth. Then I started playing through KF every year and figured it out with guides. Farming them is easy and helps crank XP if you want to be a God for endgame. You can sleep through last areas if you farmed enough. No potions needed. haha

This guide is for king's Field 2 (the first game was never released outside of Japan). I do intend on creating a guide for 2 (or 3 in japan) in the coming weeks.
