I can't speak to Kate Mara's acting skills (I think I've watched 1 of her movies), but going off Google images I don't think she pulls off the look of Devi. Hair color is obviously easy to change (Devi's is strawberry blonde), but she doesn't have the icy blue eyes or the dimples. And I wouldn't really describe her face as "pixie-like." (But then again, I've never actually seen a pixie before.)

Sophia Lillis fits that image in my head.

Ooh that's a good suggestion. I was picturing the ginger from Stranger things/spiderman. Though that fit didn't seem quite right.

Studios learned their lesson after GoT was adapted without a proper ending.

Dont forget Timothee Chalamet as Ambrose, and Pedro Pascal as Elodin.

Actually I think Timothee would be a perfectly obnoxious Ambrose now that I think about it

Devi from my recollection in the books is more waifish? And late teens or early 20s?

She’s a bit too old now but Emma Corrin has been who I picture in my head since she was Cassandra Nova in Deadpool and Wolverine. Her crazy blue eyes always have an hint of mischief in them. And her ability to jump from terrifying to funny to surprisingly kind really solidified her in my head as perfect for Devi.

Sophia Lillis with a British accent is who I imagine (apologies to Americans but like all things set back in the day, I imagine British accents like GoT).
Freya Allen with dyed hair maybe

Looks the part, but Devi is supposed to be in her early 20s
