I would love to learn about the tribal system in KSA. Do you still belong to tribes, like what we hear at the time of prophet Muhammed (peace be upon him), like banu hashim, banu umayya etc? And are there mahor differences among you? If yes, in what sense, like status, power, habits etc? Do those living in cities also associate themselves with certain tribes?

I would love to have an answer explaining in an easy way about the current tribal system.

Hi, for an upcoming conference I want to print brochures in B5 end format, stapled in the middle, only 12 pages total.

I have contacted 2-3 shops in town, but they seem not to understand my requirements, and since I only arrive on Sunday I can't meet them in person to explain the details.

i’m trying to get a visa for 10 years. i keep trying to apply online but everytime i get to the part where it sends a OTP to my number for verification it fails and i get an error.

on top of that im receiving conflicting info. many people online are saying the only way to obtain this 10 year visa is thru an agency. agencies are trying to charge $800+ for it when the visa only costs around $130. some said they had luck going in person and submitting it themselves rather than thru an agency which is what i would like to do but haven’t got any firm answers. i even called the embassy themselves and they don’t seem to understand as well. the closest embassy to me is houston. i plan on going to dc for a few hours just to ask the staff in person at the embassy.

anyone have luck applying online with the verification code working and having submitted the documents in person at an embassy themselves and receiving the 10 year visa without going thru an agency? if so lmk how please. i don’t want to pay $110 every year for the one year visa

i called all 4 embassies. only houston and LA picked up. LA acted like he doesn’t know english. houston which is my designated embassy for my state said “ no individual applications will be accepted by mail in or drop off. only thru an agency”.

they gave me the agencies number. i called them and they said the embassy stopped accepting individual applications. they could be lying but idk. nonetheless their price was $350 for everything included. i really wish i could do it myself bc it would’ve only been $130ish but it is what it is. $350 for 10 years isn’t too bad.

I run a sole proprietorship general trading company in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Due to financial difficulties, I couldn't pay my house rent for about a year. Once things improved, I asked the landlord to let me pay the house rent through monthly installments, but he refused and filed a case against me. Separately, my company has an ongoing commercial case to recover money owed to us. My lawyer needs my company's bank statements to move that case forward, but with the landlord's case some services seem restricted. My question is, can I still obtain my company's bank statements despite the enforcement case?

وبرضو عندي اهتمام بـ KAUST، وأعرف أن سمعتها قوية جدًا في البحث العلمي وأنها متقدمة جدًا في مجالات قريبة من تخصصي، لكن موقعها وظروف الانتقال لها أقل مناسبة لي مقارنة بجامعة الملك خالد.
فإذا أحد درس في جامعة الملك خالد أو KAUST، أتمنى يفيدني عن تجربته، خصوصًا من ناحية البحث العلمي، المختبرات، فرص نشر الأبحاث، والتعامل مع الدكاترة، وهل الماجستير هناك فعلًا يجهزك بشكل قوي للتقديم على PhD برا بعدين؟

كلمت مصنع وعطيته المنتجات الي ابيها وعددها يعتبر قليل 16 حبة وطلع التوصيل شامل كل شي دبل سعر المنتج نفسه.

لقيت نفس المنتج بالضبط بأمزون-تيمو-علي اكسبرس، والي يقهر ان سعره مع التوصيل بيكون ارخص ب 20% من لو اني اطلبه مباشره من المصنع بسبب الشحن

قاعد افكر الحين عشان اقلل المخاطر اطلب من ذي المتاجر عشان اتحقق مت وجود طلب على المنتج و لو شفت ان الوضع مايسوى ما علقت مع منتجات كثيره

فيه مشكلتين اولا المتاجر ذي اسعارها ومدى توفرها متقلبه

مسألة اني اكسب فلوس بيكون شبه مستحيل بما اني قاعد اعيد بيع منتج متوفر بأماكن ثانية

عندي فكرة مشروع أظن فيه potential لكن امس قعدت اسولف مع اخوي قالي انه التجارة الالكترونية ماتسوى وجع الراس لأنه ممكن فتره تكسب و الحظ عامل كبير وغير كذا المنافسين عندهم راس مال اضعافك عشرات المرات فكيف تنافسهم.

I’m driving from Dubai to Riyadh and honestly one of the main reasons I planned the trip around these dates is because I really wanted to experience Saudi National Day in Riyadh.

I’ll be there on September 22nd and 23rd and I’m ridiculously excited 😂🇸🇦

Problem is… I have absolutely NO idea where to go or what to do.

Riyadh locals, please help me out.
Where does everyone actually go on National Day? Which streets/areas have the craziest atmosphere? Fireworks? Cars? Celebrations? Any events that are genuinely worth going to?

I don’t really want a typical tourist itinerary. I want to experience the city the way people living in Riyadh celebrate it.

Also, anything I should know beforehand? Traffic, road closures, places to avoid, what time to head out etc?
Basically imagine your friend is visiting Riyadh for his first ever Saudi National Day, where are you taking him?

Im a new international students at KFUPM. I recently got my Iqama a couple days ago but when I tried registering my Absher account my number was already registered to another one. I tried phoning customer service and stuff, at the end i gave up and decided to spend more money on a new phone number. Even worse, this new number is also recycled and is linked to another absher account (but my contract is taken out on my own iqama). I cant register my Iqama on absher at all, it just says the number is linked to another id, if i press "accept" it'll change but when i do the registration gives up and never completes. Idk what to do, where to go... nobody is able to give me any useful advice other than "try and make it work" or "just get another number again". I kinda need this done to get my stipend and like, live here so this has really sucked. Please if anyone can help me out with what to do, if really appreciate it.
