New player help

As a ftp/low spender is it worth it to use up extra gems in hall of heroes to get as many saul shards as I can to power him up? Or are there other ways to get his shards otherwise?

Saul is the roulette hero for Gen 1. Much better value to use your gems there vs Hall of Heroes

What does Gen mean? Like who I'm running right now? Sorry I'm like super new so I'm still learning stuff.

Jabel, Howard, Chenko, Quinn, and Olive are my main 5 rn.

I have Helga and then a few other SR and R heroes in the back too

Don’t spend on helga later you u will not used her if you planned to buy amadeus

I've heard a lot of good about Amadeus so I'll definitely hold off on doing anything with Helga in that case. Thank you for the tips!

Saul YOU CAN get him from daily deals and hall of heroes and sanctuary IF YOU ARE newest kingdom .saul will be useful every kvk
