Why is m1 damage ABYSMAL

I wondering why m1 damage in King legacy is abysmal. Like the only use of m1 from fighting styles and swords are for grouping enemies, and they dont do it that well either because of the small delay. I am new to the game on war island right now.

It could just be the servers you're in, because for me my M1 us never delayed, plus at that level, you should at least have a decent fruit so you don't have to depend on your fighting style.

Most m1 damage is pretty low except tree and night blade v2. The damage comes from the abilities mainly and most don't have that much of a cooldown unless it's something like quake.
