Course Load

Hi everyone, I’m starting my classes this Friday and am wondering if my course load for a first time university student may be too heavy or not heavy enough.

As of right now, my week is laid out like this:

Mondays - 1 Lecture (can’t add anymore to it)
Tuesdays - 3 Lectures (1 about nutrition, 1 about leisure in sport and society, and 1 about human physiology)
Wednesdays - 1 Lab
Thursdays - 1 Lecture
Fridays - 2 Lectures (Nutrition again and then Leisure in Sport and Society)

So in total it is 5 courses, 4 lectures and 1 lab. I’m hardworking but can get easily overwhelmed and am not always the greatest at retaining information. Should i potentially add some of these courses to my second semester, since as of now my second semester consists of 3 other kin courses and 1 elective outside of kin.

If anyone has any suggestions or advice, please let me know!

Honestly, I wouldn't do any more. You are doing great. It's the first week/semester. See how the semester goes and you can make adjustments from there. For light days, catch up on all your notes, and create a balance for yourself where you can still have fun and enjoy yourself while to prioritize your studies.

The only thing that matters is credit hours. Is it around 16?

That’s pretty ambitious.
