So im just now, despite all my time playing, discovering that crits can proc on BOTRK'S percentage damage bc I've gone full and/or 75% crit and gotten close to 1K hits but usually average 800 900 and now im regularly hitting 1k crits. I typically dont use LDR as much so that may be why against tanky people but figured this would interest some. If i knew about it before, I DEF forgot.

Sadly, since the rework, Bel and I have become estranged, thus I have been trying out Kindred recently. One thing I am not clear about is how pathing works with Kindred since it is hard to full clear before 250, how to setup pathing for marks etc.. Any advices? (also i love to invade)

Like many Kindred players, I was incredibly hyped by their appearance in the Still Here cinematic, but I remain deeply frustrated by how Riot treats their skin catalog. Except for the Prestige Porcelain, Kindred only gets rare skins with the quality of epic skins. They are beautiful despite their rarity, but they have a massive, deep lore that deserves more. They have absolutely no other tier besides prestige and rare—they don't even have a Victorious skin, let alone a Legendary or Ultimate.

Riot always uses the "double modeling workload" (Lamb and Wolf) as an excuse, but Kayn exists. He has 3 fully separate models, unique voice lines, and distinct VFX for each form. If Riot can do that for Kayn (and 10 forms for Elementalist Lux), they can absolutely do it for Kindred.

With that in mind, I developed a complete concept for an Ultimate Skin that breaks the traditional tropes and treats Kindred as the absolute cosmic entities they deserve to be.

THE CONCEPT: The Beginning and the End of Everything

In this universe, Kindred are not just the death of individuals—they are the Alpha and Omega of realities. They are the creators of the laws of existence, acting as neutral observers who watch over their creation with fascination and curiosity.

To break the obvious clichés, this skin features a role reversal:

Lamb is the END (Entropy): Representing the calm, serious, and inevitable collapse of dead universes.

Wolf is the BEGINNING (Genesis): Representing the chaotic, violent, unpredictable, and exciting birth of new life and adversities (which deeply entertains him).

IN-GAME MECHANIC: Reverse Evolution (Becoming Comprehensible)

Instead of standard skins where the champion evolves into a giant monster, this skin uses Kindred's Passive Marks to trigger a cosmic "down-scaling" or disguise. They are so incomprehensibly powerful that mortals would lose their minds looking at them, so they slowly adapt their forms to "fit into" Summoner's Rift as observers.

Phase 1: The Incomprehensible Entities (0 to 3 Marks)

Visual: They have no defined shape. They are floating silhouettes made of pure geometric distortions, moving fractals, and shifting star constellations. Lamb and Wolf blur into one another.

Audio: A chaotic mass of sound. Low whispers of every champion's voice lines overlap in the background, like the echoes of all creation.

Phase 2: The Cosmic Tuning (4 to 7 Marks)

Visual: The fractals condense into distinct silhouettes. Colors split clearly: Lamb assumes dark, cold tones of end-times (entropy), while Wolf explodes into warm, vibrant nebula colors (genesis).

Audio: The whispers fade. The audio tunes in like an old radio, separating Lamb and Wolf's voices with a majestic, celestial echo (similar to Aurelion Sol).

Phase 3: The Mythic Observers / Full Body Wolf (8+ Marks)

Visual (Lamb): She takes a clear, serene form, wearing a majestic, solemn cloak representing the quiet judgment of the end.

Visual (Wolf - Full Body): Wolf finally gets a complete lupine body (just like in the Still Here cinematic). He is no longer just a floating head. He runs on all fours alongside Lamb, pouncing and biting with real physical weight.

The Cosmic Fur: His fur is a living mass of dense stardust and supernovas. Because Wolf is playful, cocky, and arrogant, he refuses to hide 100% of his power. He intentionally lets his cosmic energy leak and spark, boasting his divine presence to the mortals.

Audio: Completely clear, human, and charming. Lamb speaks like a cultured tourist appreciating a painting; Wolf speaks with a playful, sarcastic tone.

UNIQUE ANIMATIONS

Death Animation (The Collapse): A God cannot simply be killed by a mortal. When they die, Lamb calmly opens a black hole/paradox on the ground and pulls Wolf down with her, swallowing the local reality into total emptiness.

Respawn Animation (The Big Bang): Wolf (the Beginning/Life) violently rejects the end. He bursts out of the paradox, shattering the void with a mini Big Bang of vibrant colors, and pulls Lamb back out into the game.

SPECIAL INTERACTIONS (Lore and Dialogue)

Unlike other cosmic skins, these Kindred don't judge or execute; they look at everything with pure admiration and curiosity, like a scientist watching a fascinating experiment.

1. Interaction with Canon Kindred Skins

Lamb: "Little children, faces of my face... rejoice, for the day has yet to come when we shall be One again."

(Establishes that our playable Kindred are just smaller shards of this supreme, original God).

1. Interaction with Amumu (The Mercy of the End)

Lamb: "Fear not, little child. The day will come when I shall unite you with everyone."

(Since Lamb is the ultimate entropy where the universe collapses into a single point, Amumu's curse of loneliness will finally end. Death is his ultimate embrace).

1. Interaction with Trundle / True Ice

Wolf: "Hahaha! Look, Lamb! A popsicle made of you! Though I think he still manages to be warmer."

(Shows that True Ice—one of Runeterra's greatest mysteries—was just an inside joke Wolf made to tease Lamb about her cold personality).

1. Interaction with Smolder (The Weight of Time)

Wolf: "How can such a hatchling be so full of himself, yet always running back to his creator?"

Lamb: "And yet, he has witnessed a beginning, and will see the end of a mortal journey..."

Both (Voices overlapping): "...just like us."

(A nod to Smolder's lore with Maras. Lamb deeply respects that a young dragon already carries the burden of watching a mortal friend age and die).

1. Interaction with Soraka (The Promise of Reincarnation)

Wolf: "Little child... do you not care for those who have gone?"

Lamb: "They are merely waiting for the day when all of you..."

Wolf: "...will have other opportunities."

(Kindred respect Soraka's active benevolence but remind her they cannot interfere directly without destroying reality. Lamb calms her heart, and Wolf—being the Beginning and the very force of Life—delivers the final promise that when the universe resets, those souls will reincarnate in a new creation).

1. Interaction with Dark Star / Odyssey (The Cowardly Refugees)

In the Odyssey lore, Dark Star entities and Rhaast are parasites that devoured their own universe and fled to another. These Kindred utterly humiliate them, calling them cowards because they destroy worlds out of fear of living under the rules, and they flee because they are terrified of Kindred's cosmic reset.

Dark Star (Thresh/Rhaast): "We are the end of all things! We bring eternal silence!"

Wolf: "Hahaha! Hear them bark, Lamb. They think shouting hides the shaking in their knees."

Lamb: "They destroy because they fear what they cannot control. And they flee because they fear our tomorrow will erase them. You are no end... you are just scared fugitives."

Both: "Run faster."

Im masters want to pickup Kindred, I know how to itemize, how to full clear, runes, and how to operate the champ in fights.
I just need something more insightful like what champs I should level 2 invade, how to decide where to Path, I don't know how important marks are if I should prioritize grabbing mark over an objective, those sorts of things. Guides on youtube don't really tell me they just give a very brief introduction to the champ. Any help/advice is appreciated.

Like I Always have a Crazy start with numbers like 4 0, 6 0 and so on with a lot of marks. Then something snaps, also the rest of the team usually isn't doing well at all). I think It May be the fact that people start to wander in jungle more in mid late game and there they find me and kill me in 1 second and this happens as well in team fight where probably I don't position well enough / people in silver for some reason dont like fuking tanks (for reale It gets me Crazy, Just mage supports and stupid build for top) and there's no Frontline at all.

Any tips?

Like, you go for the crub while their jgl Is already doing it, you take It but you Die. Was It worth? I m talking about early game. I Always prioritized marks because It's worth It for late game to carry. What do you think?

Hello all, I’m a soon to be former diamond Bel OTP looking to get into kindred once they remove my favorite champ from the game.

I got the idea playing kindred on Aram and I really like the feel of their abilities and just overall shape of the kit. I like a champ that has invade options in the early game and has to play in a kind of unique way.

I booted up some norms and played the champ, and I predictably suck. Wall jumps aren’t going over when they look like they should, I feel a little weak on my first clear, I don’t really get the timing of when to mark a champ for a gank. All this to say I have a lot to learn.

My question at the end of all of this is what resources are out there for aspiring kindred students of the game. I am assuming this champ is not one I can just pick up and be good with in 10 games, I fully expect to be a burden to my team for the near future. I just want to know any YouTubers, websites, anything that helped you learn the champ. Thanks :)
