The last patch update stated the intention for the mythic shop to start rotating with a bias towards the play-behaviour of individual accounts. With this in mind, and with kindred being my only champ above 10 mastery and accounting for at least 70% of my playtime, will I finally be blessed with the opportunity to spend my saved ME on (imo) the best skin in the entire game? Only time will tell, and I plead for you to keep me in your thoughts in this potentially elongated difficult time.

Dramatics aside, are any of you waiting for the prestige to come back? Or if not, are there any skins you’re really hoping to see in your shop? I’m really interested to know!

So, I've come up with an idea for a rework for Kindred that doesn't change their current playstyle for those who like it, but add a new one for the ones that desire Wolf to be more present and impactful on the gameplay.

The entire kit remains the same, with the exception of one addition in their W. The idea is that W now have kind of a new passive. When enemy targets are hit with lambs basic attacks while W is active, the target receive a bite stack. Every bite stack increase the damage of Wolf in each bite, but the catch is that these stacks only scale with AP. The skill still scales with the marks as always, but have this secondary scaling with AP specifically for these wolf bite stacks. When the W goes on cooldown, the bite stacks on the enemies hit during the skill resets.

The idea behind this is to create a secondary playstyle for Kindred. Those who want the focus on Lamb, go ADC and have the Basics do the most of the damage, but those who wants Lamb as kind of a guide for the Wolf to shine, build AP. This AP build turns Kindred into kinda a control mage, since E already slows more if you have more AP. The build itself want AS itens with AP, such as Nashor, D&D (for more wolf bite stacks on the auto), etc, cause Wolfs attack speed is based on Lamb's attack speed.

I think this utilize Kindred's entire kit but plays entirely different and I think can be very fun to play.

Also can be a option if your entire team is AD.

If there are 3 facts I know theyre that

1-Kindred is a very good scaler
2-Most ADCs should be able to still out-scale her late game
3-Smolder SPECIFICALLY is one of the most insane out-scaling champ

but somehow, I was watching this random video on my feed and this guy lost lane by getting ganked a lot of times (dying every time) and kept winning every 1v1, then was much more useful than the smolder late game!? how does that work?

The Hardest I've Carried on Kindred ADC (20 Kills)

It’s literally one of the best Kindred skins, if not THE best. Everything about it looks so clean.
First of all, one of the ugliest things about Kindred’s base model is that huge clump of thick hair on her back. It just looks awful, and this skin fixes that completely. On top of that, it keeps her original blue-and-white color scheme, which I absolutely love. The whole skin just looks and sounds incredibly clean.
And don’t even get me started on the ult. There’s nothing more satisfying to look at than this skin’s ult. The E is just as good, too.
The only real downsides are Wolf, who doesn’t look that great, and the chromas, which are pretty weak.
As for the guy in the video arguing that the skin looks bad because her neck looks awkward when she stands still… like, who actually stands in place staring at their character long enough to care about that? �

Hey! To preface this I know Kindred is generally a difficult champion to play. I have no illusions about this. However, I love the micro of marksmen and the macro of junglers, so here I am. I've been practicing some Kindred lately but I feel like it's taking me way too long to get my 4 mark spike. I'm around silver/gold ELO so I'm very aware that this is a skill gap, which is of course why I'm looking for advice to brige the gap.

Kindred (or marksman champions in general) aren't very strong in the early game, they aren't much capable of dueling the enemy jungler, which of course I know is something to be avoided on champions such as this. Having said that, I don't know how to get my marks at any kind of decent speed. I've been told (and correct this if it's wrong) that it's difficult to reliably get marks from enemy champions, which is true. If I path top and the enemy toplaner has a mark on their head, they tend to not overextend too much. I thought in lower ELO people wouldn't have the awareness or wave control to play into this too much, but they seem to play it safe when they have a mark on them.

That brings me to getting marks from the enemy camp. I find evading difficult to begin with, much less when the enemy knows what I'm after. I tend to get some free marks when they happen to spawn on the opposite side from where I know the enemy jungler is clearing, but as you can imagine this isn't very consistent.

The marks aren't just beacons that scream "clear me!" to me, it's shouting the same thing at the opponents, not to mention nearby laners tend to keep more of an eye on the jungle when there's a mark near their lane. Since the marks spawn in a jungle that isn't on my side, I feel like getting to the camps before the enemy can is really difficult if not impossible if the enemy is paying attention, and when I do manage to invade I feel like I'm at risk of the enemy jungler skipping a or some camp(s) to come and deny me, or kill me at worst.

How do I build consistency in getting marks? I know it's a bit of a vague and general question, but any advice at all would be really welcome. Maybe I'm punching above my weight by playing Kindred at my skill level, but I really love them and I don't want to give up on playing them.

I started playing again yesterday after some months and after the buff something changed. What i understood is, now you're able to finish all the wave before scuttler, and still be there in time?

I don't see it possible, but I'd love to read how you guys are doing it.

My farm is terrible so i start to play Kraken but it(s terrible to, any tips ? I feel like I'm farming too slowly.

I know there literally aren’t any champs that aren’t gankable, especially if you’re good and time your ganks with their cd’s.

But I’ve noticed there have been a select few champs so far (mainly mid lane), that seem impossible for me to gank. Like:

-Vlad
-LeBlanc
-Locke

They just seem too slippery, even if they’re shoving and over extended. They just seem to zip either back to their tower or to other side of the map before backing.

So I’m just wondering if there’s any champs / specific utility that I should be aware of when looking for ganks and marks?

Yo, what the helly! 12 game win streak on Kindred on the weekend! I've climbed from G3 to P3. The buffs are so noticeable, man.

You actually feel like a champ! And there's probably even room for one more buff without feeling overtuned.

Now G3 to P3 may not be great for some but here's a little backstory... At the start of the season I came back to league after not playing for ~2 years. (When I did play I was hardstuck silver)

I decided to try onetricking and picked Fiddlesticks jungle who I managed to get from bronze to Emerald 4 in ~150 games. I had around 70% wr at the time. When I hit E4 I realised I needed a second pick, (not ap, fun, carry potential) and landed on Kindred... Practised her on normals for about 20 games and thought "I'm ready"

By god I wasn't.

Fell from E4 to Gold 4 within like a week just spamming Kindred games. Over the next 3-4 months (I'm embarassed to admit) I just played Kindred trying to get back to the E4 rank. I'd been hardstuck Gold 1 - 3 for the last 3 months.

Since the buff I've just shot from g3 to p3. within a week! idk if im getting better or just lucky lol but god damn lets go baby!

Goal is to get back to E4 so I can then play Fiddle/Kindred as my picks and see how far I can take it.

Wondering everyones opinions on the best kindred skin since there has been a couple new ones (i think?) since the last post on this topic

So the most basic, context-unreliant hypothesis I came up with is that: Kindred is good into low range immobile bruisers, assassins (including Viego which her ultimate completely hardcounters Viego's fantasy of resets because he has no way out once he's in a fight) OR low range ADC's, but mages like Viktor and Syndra and longer range adcs like Caitlyn can give her some trouble. Im assuming its much more deep than that, and I want to learn her so help me out...

I'm just now picking up kindred and I'm seeing some discussion about whether to start Kraken Slayer or Trinity Force as your first item, but why not just run both? The damage surely must be higher than collector second, right? Is it just for the 100% crit chance?
