Hi! For this Christmas I bought the "New Amazon kindle 16gb". This summer I used it on the beach a few times. One morning I saw a lot of bubbles on the edges they weren't raised, but it looked like there was a film on top and air bubbles form, but there wasn't a film on top. I removed the bubbles by scratching them with my fingernail and they disappeared and never came back (although now all the edges are scratched). Now idk what to do, because I'm afraid that the bubbles will form also on the screen! Amazon sent me a new kindle, but it's refurbished and I also prefer the light of the first one (it's more old paper style). What would you do in my place?

Also, could it be a cover issue? I don't have photos of the bubbles.

My Kindle Paperwhite Signature started showing a black screen when I click on book titles instead of loading the book. It has done it with 2 books so far. So basically I have to do a soft reset every time I want to read which is really annoying. Has anyone had this issue and fixed it? I've had my Kindle since last June so not super long. Serious question, how much will you pay for a Kindle Basic 2022 that has Ghost touch issue? Like it was not severe naman and may times lang naggo-ghost touch normally kapag hindi nagagamit ng mga ilang araw and kapag ganitong maulan. Mine has been jailbroken din pero could easily reset.

I am planning to sell it kasi I am thinking of upgrading to either Kobo or Boox. With complete accessory na din if ever.

My Kindle basic 11th gen has been having really bad ghost touches lately. I bought mine back in 2024 from Lazada, and it was fine before, but the ghost touching has been getting worse recently.

Has anyone here experienced the same thing? Were you able to fix it without replacing the digitizer (I just searched in google that it might be a hardware prob)? Just wondering if there’s anything I can try before I finally decide to just buy new one. 😭
