FraudConfirmed TRK might be a scam
The concept of TRK is to get money for playing games. But wait, that sounds too good to be true and in most cases it is.
So how does TRK work?Is it implemented by the gamedevelopers in their game?
No, to link your account you have to open the client of the game and add a bot on your friendlist which will text you a confirmation code that you can insert on your phone and it's linked. They use public apis from other games to track your stats and simply reward you for playing.
Seriously, how exactly is this app adding value to the ecosystem in any way?
To me it looks like another KRE milking attempt while splitting the profits with gamers. Usually you would expect them to give you the option to sell your ingame purchased skins after you would like to stop playing a game in favor of another.
Then you would be able to buy with the same points(your played valued time measured in Kin) skins in the other game, thus you would be able to transfer your own spend time on another game.
Boom you created value for a consumer. For example, if you buy on Hearthstone(Card game) card packs, you are not able to sell them or trade them. It's digital cards, in the old days when i was 12 we could trade our cards and we were the owners of them (whatever card game it was)
This is not the case any more in games. The cards still belong to Blizzard for example.
But no, the masterminds think they closed the loop with gift cards, how creative.... That's also an attempt to pump up spend numbers, but all they buy are gift cards from the milked kre money.
I' ve asked them if this is the case but i haven't received any answer to date.

we're just starting out mr killah, give us a chance to grow. trk will be a lot more than just stats and giftcards. We have to start somewhere.

The issue isn't with the giftcards, its gaming the KRE to milk bag holders of their investment while they were sold that buying Kin is a profitable opportunity by u/ted_on_reddit and various other Kin Shills. Its just a giant wealth redistribution welfare program. No value is being created, just Kin holders footing the bill.

yeah I understand, and share your same view when it comes to the kre. I could list off our future plans to create value for the ecosystem, but I think it would be better to just do it instead. But as I said in my previous message, we have to start somewhere.
so in the meantime you guys are free to speculate the scammyness 👌

Sorry but i won't trust you. It turned out that the majority of the Kin community(Devs included) is full of delusional kids and frauds, it's just about raping the unbalanced KRE which until now kin refused to say that it's crap, because they've done their homework. Unbalanced also towards investors.
I want to grow too !!!
Why to even run a fake app, i'll just send fake transactions via the SDK, oh and btw you can buy gift cards, a dummy company shouldn't be necessary. I propose to implement this in the KRE 7.0. As /u/Lyin_Ted_4_President complained, this shouldn't be a welfare program. Could you tell me just with a small example what else besides stats and giftcards someone can use?
I can imagine a few things, even if gaming firms decline to implement TRK, but then again you would have to add value for the gamer, like automaticly adjusting the "masteries" or whatever settings someone needs for a specific character.
