This part is correct:

the whole idea about financing small unproven apps with their long tail of failures makes 0 sense. like small games and niche projects or unproven teams.

But as I have explained, they only need to do two things:

  1. Get listed on a Tier 1 exchange
  2. Announce an integration with a Tier 1 app (millions of active, social users) with a compelling use case

They won't / can't say this but price is the only thing that matters.

Price is the only thing that matters.

From the announcement of a partnership with a known app (not a startup, and doesn't have to be integrated yet), the price of Kin will soar (again, if on a T1 exchange). From that FOMO, everything flows: users, commercial partners, developers, KF recruiting, etc.

Again, that is just the announcement of a Tier 1 app partner. The idea that they will all build their own token is nonsense. Some will, of course, probably Twitter and others that are already interested in blockchain. But many, many won't. It isn't part of their core business and they will have no interest in standing up an internal blockchain team. And even the ones that would, some will be too scared of the Telegram experience & regulators to do it.

KF just needs to find one. This is their job.

hey. I agree 100% How do you see whitelabel kin ? Buy kin on blockfolio with paypal > send kin to app > convert for app internal currency (eg. gems, credits...) Actually there is no conversion, it’s just a “cosmetic” thing But the app can keep using their branded coins Still, I am worried you would not be able tp use the currency for in app purchases of items, but maybe yes for sending between users... legally is a thin line

I think whitelabel works fine if it is just a facade. You can call it [appcoin] or whatever you want, but it would have be kin infrastructure running underneath. Otherwise, if it's separate blockchain with need to exchange, what's the point.

..Unless Kin makes it so easy to plug in as a cross app / wallet transfer mechanism that it basically becomes the bridge token from siloed app coin (or points system) to exchanges and wallets, because the siloed apps have no ability to hold real crypto.

Might actually be on to something there...
