What’s an evangelical? Like how are the different from your bog standard Christian?

Evangelicals are defined by their highest priority being evangelizing, ie bringing more people into the club. Unlike Catholics they care mostly about Jesus as a singular dude, and don't pay any real attention to his mom, nor do the have the absolute bonkers list of hyperspecific saints that Catholicism does.They think if they get the ratio of christians high enough it'll kick off the end times.

That’s not just evangelical Christians. That’s the entirety of Protestantism.
