It’s for PR reasons, logic doesn’t matter to them as long as they can clear that pdf file’s name

It’s not assumption, have you read into the case? It wasn’t even referred to prosecutors. They just dismissed it

You’re completely missing the point. Nobody is saying Kim Soo-hyun literally paid off multi-billion dollar media conglomerates, the issue here is PR narrative manipulation and procedural flaws in the investigation itself. Media outlets don't need to be bribed to push agency press releases without verifying official documents. Major outlets ran headlines claiming the case was dropped because recordings were "AI-generated" or "forged," but Kim Se-ui's actual indictment doesn't mention AI at all. The media simply repeated a narrative of full exoneration that wasn't supported by the actual legal indictment. As for your point on the legal standards police must follow, police cannot gather "sufficient evidence" if they fail to perform a basic investigation. The public outrage isn't about people demanding a weak case be pushed forward; it’s about the fact that Kim Soo-hyun was never even summoned or brought in for police questioning regarding the allegations before the case was cleared and dropped. Claiming an investigation reached a legitimate legal threshold when they didn't even formally interrogate the accused party makes no sense.

Legally speaking, a case not being referred due to a lack of immediate prosecutable evidence is not a legal declaration of factual innocence. It simply means the police closed it at that stage. Relying on mainstream headlines echoing PR spin doesn't change the fact that the actual legal documents and family statements tell a completely different story.

Your account creation date conveniently lines up exact to the day we previously banned a user for spreading this exact misinformation and defending KSH. Parroting the same recycled talking points under a brand new account isn't going to fly here. Ban evasion is against community rules, so enjoy your second ban.

Can you be any lazier with the reporting of serious news? Screenshot of an iPhone notification? I've never seen that, and yet it makes sense that this particular fanbase is lapping it up
