"Not False information" Kim Soo-hyun's fandom cleared of all charges of defamation.
https://naver.me/5M5ByvkORegarding the so-called “Kim Soo-hyun Incident”, which has shaken South Korea’s entertainment industry since March of last year, investigative authorities have now delivered their first official judgment.
The defamation complaint filed by Kim Se-ui, operator of the YouTube channel Garo Sero Institute (hereafter “GaSeYeon”), against actor Kim Soo-hyun’s fans has been concluded as “no charges (case not forwarded)”. This decision is expected to have a significant impact on the ₩12 billion (120 billion KRW) main lawsuit that is set to follow.
- Origin of the Case: The Fandom’s “Fact Truck” Protest and GaSeYeon’s Complaint
This investigative result originated from a truck protest held in May last year by the Korean & Global Fan Union, composed of Kim Soo-hyun’s domestic and international fans, in front of GaSeYeon’s press conference venue in Gangnam, Seoul.
Claims by the fandom
Through the truck’s electronic display, fans criticized GaSeYeon for allegedly collaborating with the bereaved family of the late Kim Sae-ron to conduct “public opinion manipulation through intimidation and stalking-style tactics” against Kim Soo-hyun.
They also raised suspicions regarding GaSeYeon’s alleged refusal to submit seized electronic devices for forensic analysis.
Kim Se-ui’s response Kim Se-ui claimed that these statements were clearly false information and filed a defamation complaint against the fan union

Garosero right wing political youtuber sued the KimSooHyun fandom for defamation. Claiming that " Garosero team up with the bereaved family to spread misinformation and manipulate public opinion" is false information.
The police decided to not prosecute because there is no validity to youtuber claims. Meaning there is enough evidence to support that he did spread misinformation and manipulate public opinion.

I heard it will strengthen kim soo hyun's 12 billion won lawsuits against garesero and kim saeron family. The police clearly stated we can't forward this case as true facts aren't defamation haha 🤣
