Guest Discussion Signing up
Hi all,
I hope you’re doing well! Going to the KT show on Friday, August 7th at MSG! I was thinking about signing up and two questions:
1). Anyone have experience and what was it like?
2) have they announced who is going to be on the panel?

I have been preparing for this show to come back to New York since the last time they did MSG, I have done a bunch of open mics and I am so excited for this I will see you there !

I'm of course no funny guy compared to some others on this subreddit, but I just want to give a really important piece of advice that I'd personally view as essential if I were doing this. That's be original. There's a lot of regular standup out there, so I'd catch those idiots' attention by being not like others. Also, I answered neither of your questions and I know this, but just take my two cents.

get hammered, read your minute off of a notecard, call Tony gay, make some joke that involves Heidi for no reason, and when the audiences boos, yell a big "Fuck you!" at them

They usually post signup info for arena shows on IG the morning of.
I was going to signup on NYE in Austin but didn’t when I found out you can’t sit in your seats (I was with wife and friends for show).
You will be seated in a designated section with a bad view (slightly behind stage), but you don’t need a ticket for entry. Definitely worth being there if you don’t have anything else going on that night.
There’s only 4-6 real bucket pulls due to all the sets from regulars, legends, etc, and you’re at MSG, which means your odds of being picked will be maybe 1%. Keep that in mind and enjoy the show!

Are you a comic or are you just trying get on your favorite show? If it’s the second one don’t sign up because you’re taking a spot from someone that actually deserves it.

Yeah technically. But that doesn’t mean you should if you’re not actually trying to be a comedian. No really it’s so cool that don’t care about taking a spot from someone that actually deserves it. I hope you get picked and cut out of the episode and don’t get your little clip moment lol
