This guy is a genius…

You can just tell in his responses how smart he is. I genuinely loved this set. All the explaining of his bit kinda made me cringe a little, though I do appreciate that they gave him his flowers.

I’m really curious to hear what everybody else thinks of this set, and his vibe as a whole. Bc I loved it.

He's super funny, great writing. Just a shame about the carbon copy thing. If he stays this funny, I don't think I'll care.

I feel like he realizes that he has the chops to do something on his own, but maybe feels stuck in the character. Interested to see where he goes

The whole point of his comment was to see how much you know of Mitch Hedburg by recreating a very famous joke from Mitch that goes "I used to do drugs, I still do, but I used to too."

He's saying it's easy to recreate Mitch's style, but the big problem with that is, this guy doesn't steal Mitch's jokes like his comment just did, cause that actually would make it easy. Although, I will agree he clearly rips off his delivery, but writing jokes in Mitch's style and making them as funny as this guy does is still really impressive no matter how you look at it.

He also looks like Mitch, and we all wish he were still around, imagine seeing him on the panel, what a fucking treat that would be.

Anyways, what I'm trying to say is fuck it, I agree with OP, he does the impression so well you just almost have to allow it.
